Job Brief :
Support VM theme of the store with styling options and implement a Fashion styling strategy in line with in with the planned VM strategy within projected budget requirements, in order to build and uphold the image of the store. Select the range of merchandise to be used in the store to ensure that a common theme is seen throughout the store. Produce novel and unique styling deas for merchandise presentation. Coordinate between different departments and teams of people to ensure that store styling standards are met for in-store display, photo shoots or for any other store events. Direct the VM in preparing the Visual Display calendar by providing input of developments in fashion trends taking into consideration seasonal requirements, promotions, brand specific activities etc to ensure effective implementation. Proposing styling concepts having taken into account the slow v/s fast moving items, hot treands and limited edition items for the commercial benefit of the business. Select merchandise for fashion shows, trunk shows, marketing promotion and media with the view to best represent trends/brands/ranges Maintain awareness of merchanidise ranges of merchandise in the store at all times paying particular attention to key looks new exclusive brands, best sellers and slow sellers, key looks, key trends, hot items, new brands, exclusive brands. Research on latest trends in the region and international markets – staying abreast of fashion trends and present to store teams in a structured manner. Involvement in seasonal brand and style training programs. Building up extensive network of contacts within the media & Fashion Industry Person Specification :
Intermediate or A levels with preferably a Diploma in Fashion Design/Merchandising A strong portfolio of previous work Eye for style, creative and resourceful Good interpersonal and networking skills 4-5years of previous relevant retail styling experience
