The job holder is responsible for monitoring and inspection related to telecommunication equipment and radio stations : 1.Verify applicants planned location of radio equipment before installation. 2.Control the authorized equipment for proper application in conformity with the licensing conditions. 3.Carry out pre
-license and post
-license granting conformity inspection. 4.Ensure compliance of equipment and stations with the national rules and regulations. 5.Control the frequency spectrum, in relation to enforcement and monitoring aspects. 6.Control the technical and operational characteristics of radio equipment. 7.Verify the compatibility and the interference free use of authorized emissions, to detect and identify the origin of interference and to resolve them. 8.Detect and identify unauthorized transmissions. 9.Collect statistical information about the technical and operational nature of the radio spectrum use. 10.Determine channel and band usage, including assessment of channel availability. 11.Verify the efficiency of the frequency assignment process. Aids the spectrum planning process. 12.Participate in national/ sub
-regional/ regional/ international meetings related to spectrum monitoring and inspection. 13.Prepare necessary reports. 1.Bachelor Degree in Telecoms Engineering 2.Knowledge of radio regulations 3.Strong knowledge in telecommunication field 4.Strong written and spoken communication skills in Arabic and English. 5.Able to deal with people with different cultural and ethnic background. 6.Strong ability to coordinate and write good reports 7.Knowledge of monitoring software
