This store will be an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Store Manager to take up the challenge of supporting the Store Manager to make this new shop a success. Your focus will be on acting as the person in charge when the Store Manager is not on duty. You will need to lead and motivate a team of approximately 7 staff and ensure sales targets are met and high levels of customer service are maintained at all times. Additional tasks will include adhering to store policies, keeping the shop clean and tidy, overseeing stock and making sure desired visual merchandising standards are met.An experienced fashion retailer, you have experience leading and supervising a team and are able to demonstrate success in meeting performance targets. Ideally, your experience will be within luxury fashion and you will understand the distinct challenges that customers at this level present. Active on the shop floor, you will lead by example both in sales and service as well as on a policy and procedure front. Your ability to communicate effectively with both customers and the team as a whole will also be vital in this key position.
