Position Description: We seek an experienced Sulfur Recovery Specialist to work with The Upstream Process Engineering Division with our Process & Control Systems Department (PCSD). The Upstream Process Engineering Division provides engineering expertise in processing of natural gas and light hydrocarbons, production and stabilization of crude oil and simulation of pipelines and processes. Duties and responsibilities include the following: Incumbent should audit and review existing Sulfur Recovery facilities/systems to identify improvement opportunities, potential problems, and remedies to existing problems Should work closely with operating plants and other engineering organizations, should participate in studies, evaluations and investigations in collaboration with other company and outside organizations related to new and existing Sulfur Recovery systems Should develop plans for reviewing and incorporating new technologies in plants, should conduct simulations studies using licensed process simulation software packages like Promax and Sulsim, should deliver presentations to an international audience of experts and publishes technical papers Should be willing to mentor Saudi Arab engineers and future Sulfur Recovery specialists Incumbent should possess excellent computer skills as well as excellent oral/written presentation skills. Minimum Requirement: Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering (Advanced Degree preferred). A minimum of 10 years experience in Sulfur Recovery. Incumbent should have extensive knowledge to conduct economic studies and cost analysis of different Sulfur Recovery systems of both gas plants and refineries.
