Responsible for supervising the accounting function involving maintenance of a proper accounting system in the organization through effective planning and supervision of the accounting team. Principal Accountabilities:
- Managing an accounting department, including the day to day operations
- Supervises all the accounting staff and delegate responsibilities.
- Responsible for reviewing all payments, managing bank accounts
- Supervise preparation of daily treasury and monitoring cashflows
- Reviews bank reconciliations
- Supervises closing of monthly and year
-end accounts for parent and subsidiaries
- Responsible for consolidation of accounts
- Prepares monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements
- Safeguards contracts and other legal documents
- Arranges for the external audit of the companys accounts and provides the required reports and information to the auditors. Key Performance Indicators: Timely month
