The Role Holder is responsible for the development of new business opportunities, in stand
-alone client facilities to encourage growth in non aeronautical ventures. The Role Holder develops strategic business plans relating to business development, sales, marketing and investment. The Role Holder holds responsibility for implementing agreed plans and strategies to achieve the strategic direction for the improvement and expansion of our clients commercial facilities. Implement and drive the business development, sales, investment, and marketing strategies within the Department to realize tangible targets that support the strategic direction of our client’s. Conduct market research to identify new market opportunities to support the development of new business initiatives and investments and ensure these are aligned with the business strategies in place. Identify, attract, secure and maintain ongoing relationships with the targeted industries/businesses to encourage external investment in our clients commercial activities. Develop and launch new products that compliment our client’s commercial facilities to encourage business interest and growth from external stakeholders. Oversee the implementation of strategies to ensure that they are executed and develop in line with the strategic direction of our client’s and commercial activities remain viable and profitable in the long term. Drive sales of commercial facilities via marketing campaigns to create relationships with investors and the continued growth of our client’s commercial facilities. -day requirements for the position. Makes decisions in alignment with the financial and commercial strategic direction of our client’s, whilst maintaining the integrity and image of our client’s. New business plans and decisions are referred for approval to the Vice President Commercial Development Communication Works closely with the Vice President Commercial Development to review and set plans. Liaises with external stakeholders to discuss investments and potential long term partnerships. Communicates with departments across our client’s Divisions to progress and implement plans and strategies. Planning Sets 2 or 3 year strategic plans for business development, sales, marketing and investment within Commercial Development department.Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge +10 years experience in Business Development in significant sized projects Comprehensive knowledge of marketing campaigns and market research Strong presentation skills in English Preferable (non essential) Verbal and written Arabic language Bachelors degree in Business Adminsitration or equivalent Preferable (non essential) Masters/PHD
