Objective: Supports and enhances application developed and maintained by the organization. Mandatory Skills: Intermediate knowledge in Visual Basic 6, SQL Server 2000, Oracle 9i, XML, Crystal Reports, C# .NET, Web services is an added advantage. Main Responsibilities: 1. Maintain the application addressing the production issues (Level 2 support). 2. Trouble shoot within application & database boundaries, when problems in production environment occur. 3. Based on Change Request, enhance the application features as needed (modification or new module development). 4. Debug source code to identify problem and suggest solution. 5. Should be good at technical documentation. 6. Source code version control. 7. On a daily basis, check the health of application and database servers. 8. Troubleshoot if users are facing any difficulty using the application. 9. Coordinate with on site support staff (Level
1) for resolutions and releases. 10. Perform routine monitoring and assessment for quality assurance purposes. 11. Generate statistical as well as other ad hoc reports on demand. 12. Train users on the functionality of the application in case of new releases. 13. Carry out other duties and functions as required by the Management from time to time.
