Our client is a conglomerate of varied business activities in the Middle East, India, Far East Asia and Africa. They are looking for an operations manager to set up the internal operations for their money exhange activity. The operations manager is responsible for the internal operations of the Money Exchange Retail activity of the group. The Money Exhange operations will be set up out of the head office in Abu Dhabi in the rest of the UAE, the Middle East, and to become a global responsibility within a few years. Main accountabilities: 1. To create and develop the management function in keeping with local regulatory requirements and internal controls and processes. 2. Management of the weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly group and regulatory reporting, assisting external auditors for statutory audits 3. Play a lead role in the development and reshaping of the commercial business moving forward whilst also playing a key role in the protection of the asset and investment from a commercial business perspective. 4. To contribute positively to and drive the planned growth and development of the Company by introducing innovative solutions, establishing optimum structures and facilities and by providing strategic leadership to the Company. 5. Accountable for management of the Operations team. 6. Devise & implement policies, systems and procedures in order to streamline the Companys internal systems. 7. Advise management on Business planning Forecasting, Budgeting, Income generation, Cost reduction etc. 8. Cooperate with the banks and financial institutions. 9.
