Senior Data Architect (Saudi) My client, an international, market leader in the field of Information Technology and Telecoms are currently recruiting for a Senior Data Architect. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to take their career to the next level. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce information models that represent the business problem to be solved with regard to data content, data relationships and structure.
• Provide guidance and consultation to individuals and groups to ensure on
-going projects are in alignment with the corporate data architecture.
• Develop and maintain data models, data architecture, data management standards and conventions.
• Ability to understand business requirements and map them to the enterprise data and process models.
• The requirement is for the Data Architect to Lead relational & dimensional data modeling, data warehousing, data marts, integration, quality management etc on projects.
• He will serve as the primary architect responsible for the design and maintaining a baseline on the initiatives.
• Designing stable and high performance application solutions with complex requirements of integrating structured & unstructured data.SKILLS
• 8+ years experience in data management in a large organization across multiple database platforms.
• Proven data architecture and data modeling skills including demonstrated expertise managing data requirements, data flow diagramming and logical data modeling skills.
• In
-depth experience developing large enterprise level data warehouses and data marts. Good grasp of relational and dimensional modeling concepts.
• Work with the business to develop the STMs (Source to Target Mappings) for the ETL/ELT processes.
• Up
-to
-date knowledge of data modeling patterns and industry standard models.
• The ability to develop and implement standards and processes for ensuring data quality.
• Proven experience in all phases of the system development life cycle.
• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non
-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
• Exemplary interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Exceptional planning, organizational, analytical, problem
-solving and consultation skills are required.
• Experience with leading Databases like Oracle, DB2, MS SQL2005.
• Worked with data modeling tools like SA Erwin Modeler
• Well experienced with SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting, XML, java etc
• Grasp of ETL tools like Informatica, DataStage
• Bilingual in English & Arabic preferred
• Health Industry experience will be good to have.
• At least 5+ Years experience in Data Modeling/architecture
• Overall 8+ Years of data management solutions experience
• 10+ Years of IT Industry experience Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or technical certifications is mandatory.
