A highly skilled reservoir engineer is required to join this reputed organisation in the UAE. The organisation is currently government owned and has considerable funding for operations. They have an already established reservoir engineering team and due to the complexity of some of the reservoirs they are working on further demand has arisen to expand. The reservoirs are situated offshore and having been worked on for almost 40 years.The organisation uses Schlumberger software so knowledge of Eclipse and SCAL is essential for this position as is a strong focus on reservoir simulation. Carbonate reservoir experience is also essential for this position and ideally the candidate will have more than 10 years experience. Technical ability is the most important characteristic of this role so a strong background is required. An understanding of modelling would be considered a bonus for this position.
