This role is responsible for analysing, evaluating, developing, modifying, testing, and supporting programmes of a small
-to
-medium complexity on any technology platform. The incumbent of the role shall be required to analyse technical and user
-related problems of existing applications and participate in the business analyses of new applications; they will also provide technical support and assistance to systems users regarding the systems and/or programming needs in order to facilitate business operations. The role could cause project delays if delivery targets are not met or delayed. PROFILE
• Knowledge of retail & corporate banking products
• Knowledge of treasury products
• Knowledge of Basel II & ALM concept
• Familiar with General Ledger, Credit Risk, Limits and Collaterals modules of banking domain
• Functional analysis of MIS requirement
• Knowledge in performing data source information analysis
• Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with all business users and internally within the team
• Development of Functional and Technical Specifications based on Business Requirements Specifications
• Liaison with Vendor or In
-house Development Teams to ensure timely solution delivery
• Experience in Core
-Banking Application Production Support (min 2 years, ideally 2
-4 years)
• Good application troubleshooting knowledge
• Experience in Release Management & Problem Escalation Management
• Experience in testing regular patches and bug fixes and promoting the same into production SKILL SET
• Strong in Oracle PL/SQL programming
• Familiar with J2EE and XML Concept
• Knowledge of Oracle & MS
-SQL database
• Experience with Basic UNIX commands (AIX, Solaris)
• Experience in Report Development using Business Object Qualification: Bachelors degree or equivalent diploma or experience. Experience: 2
-4 years.
