Key Challenges/Mission – To act as a trusted advisor towards Customer & Presales team for solution positioning and design o Positioning during the pre -sales phase o Customization and design during response to tender & Tender defence – Acts as a primary interface with the S&M and Operation; organisation and keep up to date on Generic solution definition and strategy. Give feedback to S&M community on customer and local needs and provide support during the first phase of implementation or low level design of the solution, get feedback on solution implementation – Understand and capture critical customer requirement and translate them into effective technical solutions and design o Participate to the elaboration of the customer solution during the pre -sales o Participate to the response to tender – Support Bid Manager & Coordinate products expertise during response to tender – Estimate solution implementation planning and risk within the customer environment – Coordinate with expert responsible for integration services in the customer environment and participate to integration estimation costing – Ensure capitalization of experience and relevant training of the B&P team on solution development Key Responsibilities – Cultivate High level of expertise in Solution Design in the backhauling and core transport Domain o Keep up to date with all the Solutions Development activities and generic integration in the company in the backhauling & transport solutions of expertise, o Keep up to date on industry best practices, evolution of customer requirements : solutions and services supported by the solution, o Cultivate high level expertise on our clients third party products that participate to the solutions in his of expertise, o Keep up to date on the competition way to present and design solution in the transport Domain o Participate workshops/info sessions o Cultivate high level technical expertise in solution design and integration in the customer environment through participation to pre -sales activities, tender response. – Support Bid Manager during the offer response : o Coordinate products experts to ensure end to end solution definition & design o Responsible for the overall coordination of the technical part of the offer o Responsible of the coordination with Integration Services : participate and challenge quotation, o Responsible for the quality of the solution documentation, presentation to the customer o Responsible for solution design feasibility and solution implementation – Ensure the right level of information of the solution proposed to operation team and support them during the first phase of implementation if necessary – Ensure training and awareness of blue -print and customer solutions throughout the B&P community o Establish the right interface with S&M and other community of interest , o Ensure communications, training on solutions offering, deployment, customer cases throughout the presales communities – Organize and ensure Capitalization of best practices : gathering & sharing the following but not limited to: o Customer deliverables of best quality: marketing presentations, executive summary, Generic architecture & Customer architecture with all components, incl. typical 3rd parties o Design, optimization done for in response to specific customer requirements o Competitive positioning o Running projects/references in & out of the region o Programs implementation feedback – Ensure Mechanisms for collections & feedback for improvement o Operation and S&M community feedback on solution proposed with customers requirements , blue -print necessary adaptation for the local market Required Skills and Competencies – Bsc Degree in Telecommunication field with IP domain certifications (e.g. CCIE) We clearly need to define the level and scope of IP related qualification required – Pre -sales acumen & business understanding (knowledge of key players, market & trends), – Deep technical expertise, services to users in the IP domain develop within the telecommunication industry – Languages: fluent in English; Arabic and /or French would be a plus. – Excellent communication skills (both verbally & in writing) – Powerful presentation skills – MS Office suite of tools (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) Years and Areas of Experience – 5 to 8 years of pre -sales experience – First experience in solution design and /or solution integration – 3 to 4 years of IP domain expertise Personality Attributes – Culturally sensitive & Motivated by challenging & multi -cultural environment – Comfortable working with virtual product and solution consultant teams globally – Adaptable, used to cope with time constraints and work under pressure – Independent/autonomous – Ability to be a team player as well as a team leader as the situation demands
