My client is looking for a Western Educated Expat candidate with expereince in design of roads, earthworks, drainage, drillings and land development based in Abu Dhabi working within Homeland Securities helping to protect the regions assets. Working a long -term project, a minimum of 5 years, with various divisional sites including onshore & offshore sites. Duties include: – Design & drafting with AutoCAD, writing technical specifications, SOW, RFE, ATP documents. – Verify that the drawings which were supplied are per UAE standards and Oil or Gas company -s standards. – Solving civil engineering design problems, when occurs in the field, and re -design when needed. – Supervision on local design firms doing detailed design & design for construction – including drawings, BOM, BOQ. Qualifications: – B.Sc. in Civil Engineering – must – Minimum 5 years – experience in designing earthworks, roads and drainage land development – must – Good knowledge and experience of British and UAE codes and norms – must – Good knowledge and experience in computer programs in the design of Civil Engineering – Working experience in Oil and Gas fields – advantage Personal abilities: Independent and individual abilities; the ability to work under pressure in ambiguous environment, solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations. The Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Benefits: Working 5 days a week.
