Consult with Clients, personnel in other departments, or disciplinary leaders, project managers to discuss and formulate estimates, identify risks, resources etc. Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work. • General supervision and inspect the installation, modification and commissioning of electrical systems at construction sites • Monitor, verify, and document the work being performed through subordinates. • To ensure proper implementation of design at site. • Provide technical assistance to the construction team as needed. • Generate/Review material requisitions, submittals, and ensure contract performance measures are met. • Ensure that all electrical site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per shop drawings, method statements, specification and work plan • To coordinate with other engineering discipline • Assist the Project Manager in ensuring completion of the project per schedule within budget, in accordance with quality standards • Evaluate the project construction to ensure compliance with standards for electrical systems. • Serve as the senior Site Representative for all matters related to construction quality assurance of electrical works.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: • Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines. • Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites with the Project Engineer. • Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations. • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to our staff and workers. • Obtain all necessary permits and licenses. • Direct and supervise workers. • Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods. • Supervise and coordinate with sub contractor as part of the workers

They have recently won a framework with ADWEA to construction maintain and service a number of substations throughout Abu Dhabi and are expanding their business accordingly The candidate must have experience with the civil construction work on sub stations in the GCC, Preferably 132 kv or 400kv sub stations but this is not essential.
