Senior Project Manager – Curtain Walling UAE Our client, a leading curtain walling sub -contractor, is currently working on a number of prestigious new build mega projects across the UAE and Qatar. Installing various glazing systems to some of the most technically challenging and ground breaking construction projects currently under construction, our client is a pioneering and global company offering a unique employment opportunity. – Enforce COMPANY safety rules and regulations on site and at the factory; – Conduct safety inspection of work areas to ensure safe working conditions; – Ensure that work activities both on site and in the factory are subjected to a thorough hazard identification and risk assessment process; – Monitor safety performance on site and at the factory; – Investigate incidents (accidents, near misses, emergencies) and submit full report to COMPANY Safety Manager and other concerned managers; – Provide safety talks to factory and site supervisors, foremen and workers; – Inspect COMPANY plant and equipment in coordination with supervisors/foremen on site and at the factory to ensure safe working condition; – Inspect COMPANY firefighting equipment (fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, etc.) on a regular basis; – See to it that mobile scaffolds, fixed scaffolds and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) are inspected prior to being used by COMPANY employees; – Ensure that COMPANY owned and rented lifting equipment are visually inspected and have valid 3rd party inspection and testing certificates; – Establish and maintain a healthy working relationship with Main Contractor/Client HSE personnel; – Ensure that sufficient barricades and warning signs are provided in areas where lifting operation is being done; – Maintain safety records; – Carry out emergency preparedness drills (fire, medical) at the factory and on site; – Be aware of COMPANY -s QHSE Policy and adhere to all applicable procedures of the company; – Be familiar with significant aspects, hazards, risks and safety/environmental management programs; – 5 -years minimum experience in high rise curtain wall facade – College Degree / Diploma – OSHA certificate or any related short course, trainings, etc. – Familiar with governmental safety / environmental rules – Knowledgeable of firefighting equipments
