As the Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for with electrical analysis and design assistance on projects of small to average size and of simple to moderate complexity with limited supervision of an experienced engineer; and develops knowledge of the contract document process and the electrical systems selections process. Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following: – Possessing Electrical Design experience of: 11kV and 400V electrical systems, lighting design, fire detection and alarm, BMS systems as well as data/voice structured cabling, access control and CCTV. – Proficiency in using electrical design software / analysis tools. – Working knowledge of local Regulations as well as NFPA, British, and EIA/TIA codes and standards. – Designing experience of tall towers, commercial, large mixed use developments, hospitality and residential projects. – Proven ability to work independently on small projects or assists more senior engineers on larger projects. BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years post -graduate experience. Professional registration from a recognized body would be preferred. Previous experience gained within a Consultancy Firm and within the Gulf Region would be advantageous
