The main responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to):* Ensure customers’ vehicles are Fixed Right ,the First Time * Keep work areas orderly, clean and safe all the time. * Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems by following proper diagnostic procedure within allotted time * Ability to perform repairs by using Special Service Tools, Diagnostic tools (intelligent tester) and Repair manuals.* Knowledge of maintenance and repair estimations on the service cars. * Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.* To be a team leader as and when required and guide Co -Technicians – -You will have the following skills and experience:* Experience with all types of repair work, including front end work, engines, drive trains, electrical and major repairs * Ability to assist Foreman / Service Advisor on proper repair order write -up * Ability to perform accurate diagnosis and repair procedures * Ability to write repair estimate report * Capability to follow the system of quality control inspection in order to prevent or correct faulty workmanship which falls below standard * You will be a strong team player, with the ability to produce excellent standards of work on a consistent basis * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to understand English as the medium of communication. – -* Minimum Qualification – Certificate / Diploma in Automobile engineering or any related courses* Minimum of 2 (years) in a major automotive manufacturer or dealership/distributorship as a technician
