To be successful in this role you will be a degree qualified engineer with a minimum 15 years experience in management and construction of HV substations including experience in erecting and testing of GIS switchgear associated protection and control systems. You will have worked as a Owners Engineer within a Project Manager capacity for the construction of 400kV and / or 132KV GIS substations. Within this role you will responsible for managing a team of engineers and supervise the construction of substations in accordance with specification ensuring quality and execution to time and budget, to the client -s satisfaction. You may also be required to review and approve contractor -s designs, supervise the construction, testing and commissioning of various networks projects, whilst being familiar with all safety aspects of a site environment. Previous work experience in the Middle East and an understanding of DEWA, ADWEA, and/or FEWA specifications would be an advantage.
